Sponsor your favorite Texas Longhorn steer
Sponsor one of our Texas Longhorn steers and join in our ongoing conservation and preservation work!
Our steers are a major component of our conservation work, functioning as quadripedal forage and soil improvement ambassadors whose primary mission is to keep our rangeland fertile and soils healthy. We herd them regularly, moving to areas where they graze the old vegetation to stimulate fresh forage and till the soil to promote water percolation and seed germination, fertilizing as they go. The steers complement our other work such as improving water quality, building erosion control devices, and protecting wildlife and habitat including several endangered species.
We need public support to accomplish everything we can envision. Your sponsorship of $500 helps make it possible for Double Circle Ranch to purchase steers and continue our conservation work.
While the actual ownership of your chosen steer remains Double Circle Longhorns, LLC, as an official Steer Sponsor, you truly become a part of the Double Circle Ranch legacy. In addition to supporting the ranch’s goal of collaborating with ranchers, environmentalists, hunters, and concerned public and government agencies to continue improving this remote area, you will also receive:
- 5% off all Double Circle Ranch programs
- Priority registration for limited volunteer spaces
- The right to select and name the steer you wish to sponsor
- A members-only newsletter
- A frameable certificate, complete with your steer’s photograph and name
But the main reason to adopt a Longhorn is to join the Double Circle Ranch in becoming a working example of collaboration between ranchers, environmentalists, hunters, concerned public and government agencies, all working together to keep this little piece of remote Arizona the best it can be today and for generations to come.
Become an active participant in the Old West in the modern era by sponsoring a real, live Double Circle Longhorn steer! Contact us today about sponsoring your favorite steer.
