Learn to Herd Cattle on Your Cattle Herding Vacation

You can enjoy a true American West experience on a Cattle Herding Vacation at the Double Circle Ranch. Come ride horseback alongside the cowboys (and cowgirls) here at the ranch, herding Texas Longhorn Cattle. You’ll gather and herd over two hundred Texas Longhorn steers, learning, testing, and mastering your horseback riding and cattle herding skills in remote and wild country in southeastern Arizona.

Your days will be spent astride a sure-footed cowpony in country made famous by old cowboy songs and books. And ride you will, no matter the weather! This is the real thing, with unlimited riding in wide open spaces.

While no cattle herding experience is required, you will need to be in good physical condition and have an adventurous spirit. This range hasn’t changed much in 150 years…and that’s just the way we like it.

Rates for a Custom Cattle Herding Vacation are $1500.00 per person per week and include activities, meals, lodging, and your own personal horse for the week.
