For us it is Christmas- a special day to be grateful for all of God’s gifts. Hope the [...] I can’t believe it is almost the 4th already. There won’t be any fireworks in this part of Arizona – too high a fire danger still. [...] Cowdog Resting – Is It Time to go to Work Yet? Wanted, an SHSWBC – a short-haired, stock-working border collie. We want to breed Belle Starr. Belle is the smartest cowdog I have ever had. Too bad I am not a really good trainer. Belle should have had professional training. Even with limited training, [...] Nothing but wide open space. Miles of grassland and woods, ridge after ridge, canyon after canyon. [...] Ty Greenwade and his fiancé Tori came to see their family cemetery and old homeplace. Ty’s great grandfather and great uncle both worked on the Double Circle Ranch. [...] Our cowdog pup, Belle Starr, has joined the ranch cow dog work crew here at the Double Circle Ranch. [...] We had the most wonderful visit 2 weeks ago with members of the Wilson family. Their relatives were members of the Double Circle Cattle Company, which purchased this ranch in the late 1920′s. [...] Super Bowl Sunday with Friends on Eagle Creek When you live this remote and your neighbors are few and miles away, you really appreciate and enjoy them. Super Bowl Sunday was a good example.
