Facilities

Guests stay in comfortable 14'x16' outfitter tents, each with a private deck and bath

The outlaws may be gone, but there are still plenty of colorful characters around here and it’s still pretty darned wild… this rustic dude ranch is no pampered place!

Leave your electrical gadgets and cell phones at home. The Double Circle Ranch is entirely off-grid, located over thirty miles from the nearest power lines and telephone lines, and cell phones don’t work out here either. We are isolated, but we like it that way.

Guest Ranch Accommodations

Our guest ranch accommodations are in permanent, 14′ x 16′ outfitter tents with comfy cots (really!), decks and private baths, complete with hot water and showers. No more than four people to a tent, please, and no smoking inside. You will need to bring towels, toiletries, pillow, and bedding or a sleeping bag.

Meals

Family-style meals are included in your stay, and are cooked and served in a nearby covered pavilion if you are staying in one of the tents. Lunch is generally boxed up so you can dine on the go, whether you are hiking, riding or fishing. Breakfast and dinner are served hot.

If you will be joining us out on the range for a cattle drive or other camp-out program, meals will be prepared over an open campfire on the range. The food is tasty and abundant, and three squares per day are part of your stay.

Attention to our guests

Part of sustainability is treading lightly. Even though we have almost 40,000 acres here, we don’t believe in packing you into big groups. With the exception of special workshops or family groups, we limit the ranch to no more than eight guests at a time in order both to tread lightly, and to provide the best possible experience for our guests. You’ll almost certainly see a lot of wildlife while you’re here, but one thing you won’t see is a lot of traffic or crowds of people.
